I am currently in the process of training for the half. It will be my first "marathon-ish" race. Anyone else doing this one or does anyone have any tips for racing at this distance?

Keep up with track work... Add 1000-2000 intervals in it. Do some tempo runs with 3mile intervals also. Long easy endurance runs 1hr -2hrs.. Never increase your current workouts by 5%/wk. Get in your rest days...true rest not easy workouts. Eat right...keep the acidity of food down... You'll recover faster. Start with that... I could go on and on

I figured you could probably go on and on for that. Daniel has me on a pretty good training program right now and I guess my main concern is lack of knowledge of proper nutrition and hydration. As you know I am a rookie to this stuff so I am trying to equip myself with all the knowledge possible.
