Anyone care to elaborate a little on this for me? When I watched Kona they kept talking about how great his/her turnover is. Does that refer to the height of your knees on the forward motion? I thought it referred to the height of the feet at the furthest back up to the forward movement of the foot. Still a little lost on this term. Thanks!

There taking about cadence (how many times foot strikes ground per minute) In IM most people have a very low cadence cause their tired vs sprint races. Crowie had a high cadence... Lieto was low and shuffling and ultimately walking.

I've read where the best marathoners are holding a 95-100 cadence. Is that practical? or is that just insanely good? I have been watching mine and I am 85 at best when I am really focusing on it and 78-80 average.
